Southport is widely regarded 'England's Golfing Capital' with seven championship courses including Royal Birkdale, which hosts The Open in 2008. The town is at the centre of 'England's Golf Coast' and over twenty courses including the '3 Royals' can be reached in under an hour.
The park has a brilliant reputation both for retired couples looking for a quiet safe environment in which to enjoy retirement as well as having facilities and amenities to keep even the youngest of customers happy.

On site there is a newly refurbished children's play area and indoor games room. Riverside also caters for evening adult only and family entertainment including ‘Funky Monkey Children’s Club’ with three immaculate venues to choose from all set away from the main park.
