Southport Hotels Association

The Southport Hotels Association endeavours to deliver high standards of accommodation. Consisting of hotels, guest houses and holiday flats, members display the Association's symbol to give visitors peace of mind that they can be relied on to make your stay in Southport enjoyable.

Established in 1888 the Southport Hotels Association is the oldest in the country and continues to ensure that their members provide the highest levels of accommodation. All member establishments are inspected annually and graded accordingly.

Only Southport Hotels Association members may display the logo. This si assurance of quality accommodation as all members must at the very least satisfy the minimum standards outlined by the English Tourism Council. Many members have successfully completed Welcome Host training too, so friendly but efficient service is very important to the Association.

The establishments of all members are inspected bi-annually by the Association’s team of experienced inspectors. All inspectors are hoteliers themselves, so they know what’s important to look for.
