"Last weekend saw the first time that Rotary District 1040 has used the Southport Theatre & Floral Hall Complex for its annual conference and I cannot begin to thank you all enough for making it the success it was. From our initial discussions through to the last moment there I have received nothing but praise from the delegates for the effieciency of you and your staff, praise that I am glad to echo as well as pass on. The catering, waiting staff and bar staff coped admiraby with 670+ people at the black tie dinner, then again at the Saturday lunch and then again on the Saturday night. "I write to thank all concerned with the British Society of Animal Science Annual Conference, held at the Southport Theatre & Floral Hall Complex 2- 4 April 2007. This was a great success and almost without question delegates enjoyed the Southport experience. Even the weather was good! Many had not visited before and were agreeably surprised on how easy it was to get there and the warm welcome they got from everyone they met in the town. We would like to thank the staff at the Floral Hall Complex who could not have been more professional and helpful. Their 'we can fix it' policy was great.
