Weekend of Jazz...

...the sun was shining, the music was playing, and Southport's bars, pubs, hotels and streets were lined with people listening to the incredible artistes that appeared at this years festival.

Vincent and Flavia wowed the audiences in the Prince of Wales on Sunday and Monday, while legendary Jacqui Dankworth enchanted the fans with her exquisite performance. The Town Hall Gardens on Lord Street was packed day after day, while people listened to music, enjoyed a pimms sat in the sun shine.

Until the 14th June you can still visit the Atkinson Art Gallery, next to the Southport Art Centre, to see the Jazz Duet Exhibition with Dave Barden a renowned artist and William Ellis, and internationally recognised photographer.
