Southport is situated on Britain's Northwest coast. For generations Southport has been a natural seaside destination for nearby Preston, Manchester, Liverpool and other great towns of the north.

BY CAR
From the South, the M6 to exit 26; the M58 will take you to Ormskirk and then the A570 to Southport. Approaching from the North, follow the A59 from Preston (exit 31 from the M6) and then follow the road signs to Southport.

RAIL AND COACH SERVICES
Regular coach and rail services to Southport operate throughout the year.

A fast and frequent local rail service runs between Liverpool Central Station and Southport.

There are also rail connections to Southport from Scotland and the North of England and all other parts of the country via Wigan and Manchester stations.

BY AIR
Daily flights are scheduled to Liverpool Airport from Dublin, Belfast, London and Cork.

Manchester International Airport, with its worldwide services, is within easy reach of Southport.
