To improve the levels of access and information offered to local communities and to increase local involvement in practical projects involving volunteering, learning and training.

Ainsdale Link Path – improving the pathway from Ainsdale to the Ainsdale National Nature Reserve, in particular for cyclists, and people with disabilities or with push chairs.

NNR Information Centre  - development of a community interpretation and education centre to encourage local people to visit and enjoy the Ainsdale National Nature Reserve.

Lifelong Learning – a program of events, training and volunteering opportunities for everybody.
