Discovering Coastal Heritage

To offer opportunities to a wide range of audiences to discover the heritage of the Sefton Coast through access and interpretation and to engage with local communities in learning about their landscapes.

Health Walks – extending the existing walking programme, including a series of longer walks based around the landscape, nature, culture and history of the coast.

Community Archaeology – a series of archaeological investigations designed to develop understanding of the rich and changing heritage of the Sefton Coast.

Ravenmeols Heritage Trail – to improve access to and develop understanding of the local nature reserve at Ravenmeols, Formby.

Coastal Footpath – improvement of the existing pathway, with improved interpretation.
