The Changing Coast

To develop greater understanding about the dynamic nature of the coast and how the landscape has evolved over time and how it may look in the future and to involve more local people, of all ages and backgrounds, in projects linked to the history of the landscape.

Reconnecting Marshside with its Coastal Heritage  - improving access and developing community links to the coast in Marshside.

My Coast My Future – an opportunity for schools to be involved with the other projects.

Archaeology Volunteers – interested in history and archaeology - a chance for you to take part in practical archaeology activities.

Coastal Trails – improve and add to the network of paths and trails through the Ainsdale & Birkdale Sandhills Local Nature Reserve.

Communications, Interpretation, Publications – will explain the meaning and significance of sites and projects by a variety of means including; web pages, leaflets, facebook, twitter, posters and maps.
