Waterloo and Crosby is the start of the coast that spans 22 miles up to Southport. Waterloo is the start of Crosby beach, home to the Antony Gormley art installation 'Another Place' and Crosby Coastal Park where Crosby Lakeside Adventure Centre is based.

Crosby Lakeside Adventure Centre gives visitors the opportunity to experience water sports and adventurous activities on it's 24 hectare lake within Crosby Coastal Park. Alongside it is The Lake House, shoreside retreat at the water’s edge of the Marine Lake in Crosby. A cafe bar and restaurant with the most amazing views across the lake, a dog friendly bistro and newly refurbished  accommodation - what more do you need?

If you walk along the beach from the Marine Lake, once the weather starts to brighten you will come across The Bus Yard - a pop up converted bus bar serving street food with seating with amazing views over the sea.

Waterloo also has a range of great restaurants and bars on South Road, just a 10-minute walk from Crosby Lakeside Adventure Centre.

You can also enter Crosby beach a little further down the road by Crosby Leisure Centre where you will be greeted by The Soul Man ice cream van blasting tunes, 100 iron statues of Antony Gormley and the most magnificent views of the coast!

You can walk right along The Sefton Coastal path to Burbo Bank where Honest Coffee serve refreshments, cakes, and crepes!
