Anima

Anima is an exploration of the distorted world of dreams featuring Yorgos Karamalegos and Elinor Randle in an innovative combination of movement, dance and theatre. By turns, deeply disturbing, humorous and moving, Anima is a surreal, thought- provoking, and emotional experience.

Originally devised by Momentum and Tanya Khabartova, Anima was developed in collaboration with Malou Airaudo of the internationally acclaimed Pina Bausch Dance Company.

Anima, Momentum’s third production, follows successful European tours of previous shows Tmesis and Memento Mori and completes their trilogy on life’s journey.

Anima is supported by the Liverpool Culture Company as part of the 2008 European Capital of Culture programme
