First Day

People flocked to Southport Town Centre yesterday for the first day of the Southport Food and Drink Festival.

Town Hall Gardens

There was a huge array of local producers, the continental market, loads of free sampling throughout the entire town centre, down Lord St, and chef demonstrations at the Celebrate Southport Pavilion in the Town Hall Gardens.

Official opening
Michelin - starred super chef, Michael Caines officially opened the Festival with members of the team and then hosted a demonstration in the marquee.

Portland Hall Spa and Latin Lounge hosted an exclusive champagne and oyster evening, which saw guests being pampered and spoilt by staff from both establishments.
