With students and lecturers from Southport College's Clouds Restaurant, taking centre stage and creating a dish with produce sourced from the adjacent Local Producers Market.


*Lunch 12pm -Mrs. Dowsons Ice Cream
Chill out with Mrs Dowson herself, as she hosts the ultimate Ice Cream demonstration . . . with lots for you to try!

*1pm -Willows Tea Room
Proprietors, Jackie and Alison, reveal their secrets about
how to make the perfect quiche and the technique to getting your homemade scones to crumble just right.

*2pm - David Gale
Manchester based chef, currently heading up the kitchens
at the unique Manchester Hilton hotel, will bring his award
winning regional culinary skills to the Festival.

*Afternoon Tea 3pm - Young Chef of the Year
The winner of the 2008 Southport Ambassador Award for the 'Young Chef of the Year' (to be announced at the Award ceremony on the 14th May) will take centre stage and create his or her winning dish for the audience. The winner will have been nominated, short listed and then judged on flair, flavour and creativity.
