A Celebration of Southport's Food and Drink Festival
A celebration of local beers and real ale will be on the menu for you to enjoy at the Southport Food and Drink Festival's Ale Trail
.......................... in association with Southport CAMRA.
CAMRA campaigns for real ale, real pubs and consumer rights. It is an independent, voluntary organisation with over 89,000 members. CAMRA promotes good-quality real ale and pubs, as well as acting as the consumer's champion in relation to the UK and European beer and drinks industry. CAMRA will have a membership stand at the Festival, anybody who would like to join or receive more information will be welcome to visit the stand, contact Ythvon Williams on davidwilliams465@btinternet.com
Southport's Real Ale Festival will start at Barons Bar, Scarisbrick Hotel, on the 1st May 6.00am.
There will be bacon butties and a traditional dance around the Maypole and to celebrate Liverpool's Capital of Culture 2008 there will be an emphasis on Mersey beers.
As well as the activity in the Celebrate Southport Pavilion, there will be additional events on Thursday | Friday | Saturday | Sunday
