Heritage Open Days - Aintree “Hidden History” Guided Walk

During Heritage Open Days there will be a guided walk around Aintree Village. To the casual observer Aintree Village may seem like many similar residential areas developed in the twentieth century.

However, a closer look reveals an area with a fascinating history and some surprising survivals from the past hidden amongst the prevailing suburban streetscape.

Walk starts and finishes at Aintree Library (meet inside the library).
Start time 10am, lasting approximately two hours. The walk is about two miles in length.
