Ince Blundell Hall will be providing a tour of the ground floor, Pantheon, Temple and grounds during Heritage Open Days. A talk by a local professional historian will be given during the tour.
Ince Blundell hall is listed Grade 2, built 1720-1750. The Garden Temple listed Grade 2, built 1780. The Pantheon listed Grade 2, built 1802 – 1810.
Grounds landscaped in 1770's according to ideas of Richard Wilson and 'Capability' Brown: Lake, vistas, arboretum, ha-ha, unique 'romantic' parkland in this region. Nationally important.
Walk of Deer Park remains, 2 ¼ miles.
The tour is of the Rococo + Victorian rooms on the ground floor.

Tour 2 - 13:45pm to 14:45pm

Note: As it is a nursing home the first floor and second floor (patients rooms) are closed to public.
From South A565 to sign "Ince Blundell Convalescent Home"
From North, turn through Ince Blundell village to sign for Ince Blundell Hall.
From A565, use bus 48, stopping at "The Round House", walk through house gates to Ince Blundell Hall.
Railway Station Hall Road (Liverpool to Southport).
