Norland Wind

The Celtic Northwest of Ireland, with its treasury of traditional songs and melodies and majestic landscape, provides the inspiration for Norland Wind. Donegal-born Noel & Padraig Duggan, also members of Irish cult group Clannad, lend a strong Celtic element to the group’s repertoire with songs in their native Irish language, complemented by the haunting instrumentals of harpist Thomas Loefke and the songs of singer guitarist Kerstin Blodig. Hal Parfitt Murray (fiddle), Eoin Duignan (uillean pipes & low whistle) and Matthias Kießling (keyboards) complete the evocative and emotional sound of Norland Wind.
