Sherman Robertson and Blues Move

Sherman Robertson needs no introduction to Southport Arts Centre regulars having established himself a firm favourite with blues audiences over the years. Sherman has all the pedigree; born in Louisiana, raised in Texas, his soulful blues is richly spiced with Cajun, Zydeco and Swamp Blues, he learned his licks on the road with the likes of Bobby 'Blue' Bland, Junior Parker and Clifton Chenier, and when Paul Simon needed an authentic Southern guitar man for his 'Graceland' album, it was to Sherman Robertson that he turned.

A master guitarist, a consummate singer and a personality to charm the birds from the trees, Sherman Robertson is a sure-fire winner!
