Sleeping Beauty on Ice

The tour comes hot on the heels of The Imperial Ice Stars’ international tour of Swan Lake on Ice, which has been seen by over a million people in 13 countries.

The Imperial Ice Stars enjoyed phenomenal success with their first UK tour of The Sleeping Beauty on Ice in 2005, with The Times giving the show a 4 star review.

Set to the sumptuous music of Tchaikovsky, The Sleeping Beauty on Ice tells the classic story of Princess Aurora and her handsome Prince. With Carabosse, the wicked black fairy, casting a deadly spell upon her, Aurora’s only hope of survival and true happiness lies with The Lilac Fairy. The rest, as they say, is fairytale history.

The thrilling production features a 25-strong cast of World, European and National Championship skaters, who between them boast over 200 competition medals. The production showcases stunning Olympic-level skating in the intimacy of the theatre. Sumptuous sets have been designed by Eamon D'Arcy, one of Australia's leading scenic designers, with over 100 stunning costumes designed by Natella Abdulaeva.
