Tam White & Mike Heron image

Friday 20 June, 8pm

Singer-songwriter Mike Heron co-founded the legendary Incredible String Band, writing most of their memorable songs and influencing artists such as John Lennon and Led Zeppelin. Since their demise in 1974 Mike has continued to write, record and perform in epic quantities. Mike will be accompanied by his daughter Georgia,” the nu-folk answer to Martha Wainwright” (The Scotsman)

UK godfather of contemporary British acoustic blues, Tam White has played in every corner of the globe and was described as “the greatest undiscovered blues talent of our time” by Alexis Korner. His idiosyncratic style reveals a potent mixture of power & sensibility few artists achieve in their lifetime, and his appearances are a master class in how to lift, move and involve an audience
