Tango: Nuevo

In this all-new production, Tango Siempre move tango away from its Come Dancing respectability back to where it belongs: as close to the fire and passion of its origins as to the latest innovations in music and dance.

From stunning, virtuoso displays of traditional tango to powerful, groundbreaking contemporary tango music and dance, Tango:Nuevo is an exquisite and breathtaking journey into the heart of Tango Argentino and beyond.

Tango:Nuevo is performed by four Latin American-born tango dancers; choreographer Myriam Ojeda Patino, Giraldo Escobar, Kicca Tomassi and Julio Mendez. The dancers have previously appeared in the hit West End tango production Tango Por Dos, BBC Strictly Come Dancing and danced tango with Take That in their 2006 'Ultimate Tour'.

The live music is composed performed by Tango Siempre, featuring Ros Stephen (violin), Pete Rosser (accordion), Jonathan Taylor (piano), Richard Pryce (double bass) and Milo Fell (drums/electronics).
