This year's Summer Classics has a sizzling line up with Russian conductor Vasily Petrenko leading the world famous, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra for their concert at Victoria Park on July 26th, which is one of Southport's most popular events. Particularly exciting this year will be the appearance by special guest Natasha Marsh.

AND........ M People Live will perform on Friday 25th July, supported by local band, The Christians.

Southport is widely regarded 'England's Golfing Capital' with seven championship courses including Royal Birkdale, which hosts The Open in 2008. The town is at the centre of 'England's Golf Coast' and over twenty courses including the '3 Royals' can be reached in under an hour.

Add to this a vibrant and exciting night-life, the Victorian splendour of Lord Street with its' unique range of shops, some of the most scenic parks and gardens you're ever likely to visit and you'll appreciate why Southport is indeed England's Classic Resort.
