Splash World

Dunes Splash World is Southport’s fantastic state-of-the-art all weather Leisure Pool and Recreation Centre.

Whatever your preference there is something for everyone with an exciting array of water features including a Tube Ride, 4 Lane Multi Slide, Lazy River and Water Curtains. The attraction has been designed to cater for families and children of all ages with a shallow water children’s area, large central play feature and water cannon. There will also be a steam room, sauna and Jacuzzi / spa bath.

After the fun and games you can relax in the poolside cafeteria which offers a tempting range of freshly prepared food, snacks and drinks.

Splash World is the largest attraction of its type on Merseyside and no matter what the weather is like outside or whatever time of year, Splash World is always a tropical 84 degrees.

Splash World forms part of the Dunes Splash World complex. As well as the leisure pool there is another 25 metre main pool, a toddler pool, a sauna cabin and steam suite and large sports hall. There is also a fantastic Fitness Suite with a massive range of state-of-the-art equipment and an acitivity studio with a wide and varied class programme.

Road Directions

From the South follow the M6 to exit 26 for the M58 which will take you to Ormskirk and then the A570 to Southport.

Approaching from the North, follow the A59 from Preston (exit 31 from the M6) and then follow the road signs to Southport and look out for the road signs to Splash World.

Public Transport Directions

Regular coach and rail services to Southport operate throughout the year. A fast and frequent local rail service runs between Liverpool Central Station and Southport.

There are also rail connections to Southport from Scotland and the North of England and all other parts of the country via Wigan and Manchester stations.
