Having initially begun her apprenticeship in her home town of Liverpool, SuEyo relocated to London for some years where she became established as a jazz singer with the help of many eminent musicians and producers, most notable Mike Dixon, Musical Director for many of London’s top theatre productions.

As winner of the first ever Marion Montgomery National Jazz Diva Award, SuEyo has had many of her dreams and ambitions realised with incredible opportunities to perform with the jazz world’s legendary and celebrated artists. Besides performing with the acclaimed composer/arranger/director Laurie Holloway, husband of the late Marion Montgomery, to whom the award is dedicated, SuEyo joined Johnny Dankworth, Cleo Laine and their daughter Jacqui Dankworth for performances at The Stables – Johnny and Cleo’s theatre venue in Maidenhead, Surrey.
