FIREPIT Smokehouse & Sports Bar is located on Lord Street, following a multimillion pound refurbishment.

They specialise in smoked BBQ dishes and American classics, ranging from their fabulous Pitpoppers which are Jalapeños stuffed with cream cheese, crumbed and fried with sriracha mayo for dipping to their 12oz New York Strip, which is 28 day aged sirloin, cooked over flame and charcoal to your liking with onion strings and your choice of garlic butter or blue cheese sauce, this goes great with their Hanover Fries they’re a heap of fries topped with bacon bits, BBQ beans, cheddar cheese, sour cream and burger sauce.

FIREPIT also boast the largest HD LED TV in the town, measuring 3m x 2m they also have over 10 HD flat screen tvs. It’s the perfect place to sit back, relax and watch all the live sporting action. They have the ability to show up to 3 live sporting events at the same time, so if you want something specific on, just ask at the bar!

If your thirsty, the bar is stocked full of craft cans from across the globe, including beers from BrewDog, Beer Monkey Brew Co, Sierra Nevada and many more.

If you’re a fan of American sports, you’re in luck! They’ll be showing all of the live action from the NFL as well as opening late for some UFC events.

Every weekend they’ll have their resident DJ on the decks playing a mash up of commercial anthems, r&b and more. On Saturdays they’ll also be joined by a live saxophonist creating a truly unique atmosphere in the heart of Southport.
