Parking & Car Parks

When planning your trip to Southport and arriving by car you will find plenty of places to park around the town.

Light, spacious and secure parking in Southport is provided by car parks in convenient locations that allow you to safely park your car whilst you explore the town.

If you are doing spot of shopping, most car parks are close to the main shopping areas so you can easily pop back to drop off your bags.

Are you planning a trip to Southport beach?

You can park on the beach and conveniently have all your belongings to hand.

Open daily between Easter until September, cars from £4.50 - £6.00.Beaches may be closed for parking during high tides.

There are plenty of pay and display areas around the town, close to shopping areas and attractions and these can be accessed from as little as 60p per hour.

Street parking in Southport and along Lord Street, the main boulevard in the Town Centre, is really close to restaurants, The Atkinson, hotels and many independent and high street retailers.

If you are catching a show at the Southport Theatre, there is on-road pay and display along the promenade and a 24 hour car park adjacent to the theatre.

The Park and Ride facility located at the Eco Visitor Centre runs all year round. You can park your car from £2.00 and hop on the free bus into the town centre.

Southport is extremely coach friendly and group visitors can park coaches for £5 per day at the Eco Visitor Centre.

And if you let us know you are coming into town we can arrange to have discount booklets for each visitor.

Free parking in Southport is available at Botanic Gardens in Churchtown and the RSPB at Marshside, so visitors to either of these attractions are catered for.
