This Friday and Saturday sees the return of the #BigBluesFest in The Atkinson.

Chicago style rhythm & blues, gospel, rock and roots to the experimental across the two day event and we have put together of a top 10 guide of things you really don't want to miss.

Sing along to the classis 1970s hits of Dr Feelgood, including Roxette, Back in the Night and Milk and Alcohol. This  amazing band are the opening act for the Big Blues Festival on Friday night. One of the must see live bands!  

Discover the very best in Blues Music, with gigs from 12pm on Saturday.Acts include Tom C Walker, Rebecca Downes, Xander and the Peace Pirates, Sam Kelly’s Station House as well as headliner Ian Siegal

Watch & listen to Ian Siegal  - one of the most gifted singers & writers in contemporary blues – MOJO.

See some free Blues Music, on the Little Blues Matters Acoustic stage. Some of the best in up and coming blues bands will be performing in the foyer.

Vote for the support act for next year’s headliners. Whoever wins the Little Blues Matters Acoustic stage public vote will support next year’s headliner.

Enjoy last year’s winners of the Little Blues Matters, George Shovlin & George Lamb, play as the supporting act for Dr Feelgood on Friday night.

Enjoy food in A Great Little Place café set in the stunning foyer of our Grade 11 listed building. Open until 6.30pm on Friday night and 7.30pm on Saturday

In between excellent live music enjoy a pint (or more) of draft real ale from Southport Brewery, choose from Monument Ale or Natterjack.
