The Sefton Coast spans 22 miles from Waterloo & Crosby to Southport where you can enjoy the tranquillity of the coast, expansive views and magnificent sunsets along with exploring the nature trails, embarking on a bike ride or long walk along the many walking and cycling routes.

The coast is well connected by train with most points of the coast being on the Merseyrail network map, you can hop on and off right along the coast spending the day exploring - although we can almost guarantee you will need more than a day! Plan your journey here.

For an even quieter pace you can enjoy village life from nearby Birkdale, Churchtown or Ainsdale whilst never being too far from the beach or the busier Southport town centre. They are all close by and walkable or connected by bus or rail. Here there are plenty of independent places to eat or sit and enjoy a cocktail whilst enjoying the serenity of village life.

Southport is ideally located for you to not only enjoy the coast, but explore the region and beyond.
