British Musical Fireworks Championship
SEVEN MAGNIFICENT FIREWORK DISPLAYS, THREE NIGHTS OF ENTERTAINMENT, ONLY ONE WINNER!
The music starts, the fireworks are fired, the sky bursts into light and the audience ‘oooooh’ as they realise the fireworks are dancing with the music – in complete harmony!
The British Musical Fireworks Championship is no ordinary competition, each competitor is required to synchronise their display to music, to win the competition, making each display no ordinary display and this event one of a kind in the UK!
Southport's sky bursts into light as watch as some of the country's top pyrotechnic teams compete with stunning firework displays to try and win the prestigious industry title of UK Champions.
This year’s competition will be moved to Victoria Park, home of the Southport Flower Show, due to the Kings Gardens redevelopment.
The competitors are as follows:
Friday - Komodo Fireworks - 2012 Champions and Pyroartistry
Saturday - Sirotechnics Fireworks, Jonathans Fireworks and Sandling Fireworks
Sunday - Fuse Fireworks and Dragon Fireworks
This is not just an ordinary firework display; this is seven breathtaking, jaw dropping displays with only one winner!
Seated tickets:
Seated tickets are a great way to enjoy the fireworks with the best view in the park. Within the seated area you will have the facility to buy hot or cold drinks from the bar and the convenience of toilet facilities close by.

Tickets purchased using a credit/debit card will be subject to a 4.5% fee.
Advance ticket rate sales end:-
Online – Thursday 3rd October 2013 at 12 midnight
Counter sales – Thursday 3rd October 2013 at 5pm
Telephone – Tuesday 1st October 2013 at 12 noon
Tickets can be purchased after the cut off times at the higher rate online or on the gate.
Seated tickets are only available in advance – under 5’s are free but this does not include a seat.
The 3 day pass is only available in advance over the counter or telephone at The Atkinson, Lord Street, Southport - Tel: 01704 533333.
Tickets for Saturday are higher priced as there are 3 displays on this day.
Group rates are available – book 10 and get the 11th free with free coach parking, call Julia Fahey on 0151 934 2333
