Keeping busy and active is really easy to do along the coast. We have plenty of nature and outdoor space to explore and you can do this walking or cycling, go on nature trails with the kids and try to spot some of the many species of nature and wildlife that settles on the Sefton coast.
Watersports is a common feature on the landscape with the Crosby Lakeside Adventure Centre being the home to a multitude of different activities. Head to Ainsdale Beach and you will often see some kite surfing, it is an excellent spot for a bit of kite flying of your own. Marine Lake in Southport has speed boats you can hire and you will always see some paddle boarding going on!
Southport Football Club and Southport & Birkdale Cricket Club are close by if you are a sports fanatic and want to go to the latest match. Or you can use Southport as a base if you are visiting the red or blue teams of Liverpool.
