This year promises to be no exception!
Confirmed Flying Displays
On The Ground
Between the soaring flyovers, you can explore a host of fun-filled activities. Kids will love the bungee trampolines, bumper cars, and classic games like Hook a Duck. Aviation fans can get up close with replica planes and check out the impressive Armed Forces’ Military Village.
Along Marine Drive, browse a wide selection of stalls featuring everything from military memorabilia and original artwork to tasty treats and children’s toys.
For those seeking a rush, the flight simulators offer a chance to feel what it’s like to be in the cockpit—do you have what it takes to handle the G-force?
The Military Village
The Military Village, located on Marine Drive, is home to incredible equipment displays from the Armed Forces.
If you're curious about a future in the Armed Forces, this is the place to be. Meet members of the Royal Navy, British Army, and Royal Air Force, and learn more about their roles and career opportunities.
The local Air Cadets will be at the show and as well as volunteering they are promoting and encouraging young people with an interest in aviation to join up, and with what’s on offer, you won’t need much persuading! Aside from flying, sports, target shooting, adventure training and great fun, you will see the benefits of your own efforts, building on your achievements and earning BTECs and DoE Awards.
The impressive Replica Chinook Helicopter, brought to the event by the RAF ground crew, will be on display giving aviation fans and families a rare chance to climb aboard and experience the sheer scale of this iconic twin-rotor helicopter.
The Mid Lancs Military Vehicle Trust members will be displaying vehicles which they have lovingly restored and they will be happy to answer any of your questions about them.
The Lytham St Annes Spitfire Ground Display Team and their display, which includes Spitfire – ‘Lucy’ will be on the ground. The knowledgeable enthusiasts have lovingly restored “Lucy”, a Spitfire Mark IX replica, with original WW2 parts, giving the Public to get up close to this iconic aircraft.
We are pleased to welcome back this mobile museum that travels the country showing 100’s of Artefacts from WW1 to present day. Children and adults alike will enjoy this fun, interactive, and engaging museum offering hands-on educational talks about each Artefact.
