Southport lies on the Northwest coast, which is one the most beautiful and expannsive coastlines in the country.
At over 22 miles in length, it stretches from Crosby Beach and Coastal Park right up to Southport and beyond.
On Crosby Beach stands the art installation 'Another Place' by Antony Gormley, 100 iron life-size statues staring out to sea.
Formby Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches on the coastline and on a hot summers day can feel like you are abroad. Extensive views can be soaked up and enjoyed once you wander through the natural dunes.
While visiting Formby you can also explore the pine woods and see if you can spot a Red Squirrel! Nature really comes together in this haven, with woods, dunes, sand and sea.

Ainsdale Beach is a hot spot for water activities such as kite surfing and more. The beautiful landscape and wide open space makes it an ideal place for beach sports.
In Southport, there is just so much to do - you can walk along the pier, search out wildlife or enjoy fish n' chips and building sandcastles.
