Step inside Southport Market and discover the Extravaganza Room. This vibrant space will be dedicated to our Big Top Festival Workshops and Masterclasses!

This buzzing indoor zone offers you a chance to dive into the world of circus magic, right in the middle of the action. Workshops held here are designed for curious beginners, playful families, and anyone eager to try something extraordinary, the space is loaded with hands‑on activities that bring the thrill of the circus to life.

Circus Skills Workshops

Saturday & Sunday - 11:00-12:00 & 13:00-14:00 | The Circus Skills Workshop will be a chance to try your hand at the thrills and skills of the circus world. Juggling, plate spinning, diabolo throwing and the art of the precarious balance - maybe even on top of a unicycle!!

Saturday & Sunday - 14:45-15:15 | Come join EggPeople as they introduce you to the world of play and fun. Using playful tactics, they will unlock your inner clown using a friendly, gentle, yet chaotic approach. Suitable for younger participants!

The Flamingos Masterclass by Artemis Productions

Saturday & Sunday - 15:45-16:45 | Artemis Productions will demonstrate their giant red, pink and white flamingo puppet. Meet the flamingo, stroke it's head and even feed it magic corn. This will be followed by an opportunity to have a go on hand held peg stilts.
